company history
In the early 1980's, our founding Director, set up, and managed two companies: Rooftop Balloons Pty Ltd, and Jumbo Inflatables Pty Ltd. Companies set up (and still trading today) that specifically promote grand openings, business locations and outdoor events using rooftop balloons and special shapes.
After many successful and fun time years of trading both companies, the companies were eventually sold.
1992, Mal went into smaller, sealed, product replicas. As well as inflatable toys, mascots and beach balls. As a result, the ABC commissioned Mal to develop some Point of Sale Inflatables for the TV show: "Bananas in Pyjamas". This led, to forming the licensing company called: The Inflatable Toy Company. This Company secured the license to manufacture, and sell worldwide, a range of inflatable "Bananas in Pyjamas" products.
Other licenses included Looney Tunes, Play School, The Wiggles, The Hooley Dooleys, Blinky Bill, Sesame Street, SOCOG (Sydney Olympics), Winnie the Pooh, Teletubbies and many others.
The business has flourished since then, and between 1992 and today has sold more than 20 million Inflatables.
In 2008 as a result of pooling the talents of Queensland Based Jenni Beveridge www.theinflatabletoycompany.com and www.posinflate.com.au had a name change to www.esp4.com.au and has continued to grow feeding the corporate world with a range of Beach Balls, Air Mattresses, Bop Bags, Product Replicas Mascots and special shapes and various licensed products.
